One of my favorite scenes in Gilmore Girls ever.
The more I rewatch the series (which is happening right now), the more I fall in love with Richard and Emily. Yes, they stifled Lorelai, and no, they weren’t perfect, but they loved their daughter so much. As much as Gilmore Girls is a series about Rory and Lorelai, it’s also about Richard and Emily trying to be a part of their daughter’s life and show her that they’ve always loved her.
